Local school thankful for anonymous ‘act of kindness’

VERMILION, Ohio (WJW) — A group of anonymous community members and others are getting a big shout out from the Vermilion Local School District, which posted a grateful message on its social media page Thursday.

The school wrote:
THANK YOU to Grace’s Kitchen and a few anonymous community members for their generous donations to our school lunch accounts. Due to their selfless “Act of Kindness”, all students in Vermilion Local Schools with a negative lunch account are now debt-free with a zero balance as of 3/28/2024.
Graces Kitchen has recently become Grace Community Kitchen, a nonprofit group that helps charities.

These generous donations continue to help support the VLSD in making sure no student goes without a healthy breakfast or lunch. Together, we can all make a difference!!
