Locally owned, Scratch Farm kitchen location has now relocated

Scratch Farm Kitchen, a localy owned restaurant has relocated from Downtown Lafayette to Johnston street.

The new space on Johnston Street is located across from Moncus Park. Serving food dedicated for everyone including vegans and vegetarians.

Their menu includes kombucha, coffee, burgers, soups, salads, and specialty plates. According to a post made on Scratch Farm Kitchen’s Instagram, the new location for Scratch features a large kitchen design. “We are so excited to serve you, let's get this rolling,” wrote another post.

The restaurant extended a huge thank you to Keystone Design and Build, LLC for helping creating their new location. Currently the previous 1,500-square-foot location at 406 Garfield Street in Downtown Lafayette is now closed.

According to Developing Lafayette, two local farmer-women started the culinarily venture, called Scratch Farm Kitchen in May 2019.

The success of the business has led them from farmers market to food truck, and now, to brick & mortar. Their names are Jamie Harson & Kelsey Leger,natives from Duson, Louisiana.

The new location at 2918 Johnston St. is now open.
