Locals Gather to Celebrate North Carolina Woman's 100th Birthday
Locals in the tight-knit Carolina Beach community gathered at the home of Marie Underwood for her 100th birthday on October 25, footage posted to Facebook shows.
Video shows the crowd sing Happy Birthday to Underwood, who joined the celebration from her home balcony. She was given the key to the city and October 25 was declared “Marie Underwood Day” by Mayor Lynn Barbee.
