Locals Seek Shelter as Hurricane Agatha Hits Southern Mexico
Residents of San Pedro Pochutla, in the Mexican state of Oaxaca, were forced to take shelter when their town was struck by Hurricane Agatha on May 30.
In a Facebook post, the town’s municipal government said the hurricane had been “devastating” and left the town without electricity. They reported several roads had been damaged and telephone lines were down.
