Loch North signs National Letter of Intent to play Football at Butler Community College

RIVERTON, KS — Over at Riverton High School, Senior Loch North put the pen to the paper as he signed to continue his athletic and academic career to play football at Butler Community College in El Dorado, Kansas.

Loch said in an interview that they will have him playing Linebacker.

This past season on defense for the Rams, North had 6 forced fumbles, 5 interceptions, 123 tackles and four sacks.

He was an All-State Linebacker, an All-CNC 1st Team LB, and an All-District LB.

North will be joining a teammate of his in Ryder Phillips who signed to Butler last week.

Loch explained on what went into his decision and being able to see the hard work pay off and being able to team up with Ryder at Butler.

Loch North said, “Just really felt like home. The coaches and just family oriented and facilities were very nice. It’s a lot. I’m just happy, finally over with and I can go play. It’s very awesome. They’ve always pushed me and I’ve played with all my friends my whole life. My dad used to be my coach. He was always on my butt to be the best I can be. It’s very awesome. Very excited for that”.
