The lockdown in Wuhan is officially lifted, but life is still far from normal

Tens of thousands of people have left the central Chinese city of Wuhan after a nearly 2.5-month lockdown was officially lifted on April 8, 2020. The strict measures were put in place on January 23, in an aggressive effort by Chinese authorities to curb the spread of the novel coronavirus that causes the disease Covid-19.
