Log Into Your Old HuffPost Comments Account

We are changing how readers access comments. Previously, readers logged in using a social media account ID, like Facebook or Twitter.

Starting April 2, when you write a comment on a story, you will be prompted to create a HuffPost member account. (If you’re already a member, you won’t need to do anything other than log in at the top right of your screen.)

But if you’re looking for comments on stories that were published before April 2, you are in the right place.

To access your previous comments, click on the commenting icon (the gray quote bubble). You can find that in the sharing icons to the left of this article if you’re on desktop, at the top of this article on a mobile web browser, or in the tab at the bottom of the screen on the apps. That process will work for any article that has comments available and was published before the switch.

Clicking on the commenting icon will open up the comment panel, where you can log into your old account.

If you navigate to your account page, you’ll also be able to delete your user record, which will remove your user identifier from any published comments.You may also delete old comments individually.
