Logan County Health Department temporarily closes

Due to a staffing shortage, the Logan County Department of Public Health (LCDPH) will be closed Friday, Jan. 21. The health department will resume usual full-time operating hours on Monday, Jan. 24.

The symptoms of the COVID-19 Omicron variant can be as minimal as the common cold or more severe.  For those individuals who have mild, cold-like symptoms, are asked to avoid contact with people and seek testing.

LCDPH also reminds the public that the symptoms of the COVID-19 Omicron variant can be as minimal as the common cold or more severe. Even if you have mild, cold-like symptoms, you should avoid contact with people and seek testing. In addition, LCDPH reminds everyone to social distance, wear a mask in public (when indoors) and to wash hands frequently to avoid getting sick or to prevent the spread of COVID-19 virus.
