Logan numbers surge for school vacation week

School vacation is underway this week in Massachusetts and that means some families are headed out of state for the first time in a year. The TSA reported nearly 1.3 million people were screened nationwide on Saturday – a steep climb from just more than 97,000 on the same day last year . Under the state's travel advisory -- which took effect last month -- anyone who has been out of Massachusetts for more than 24 hours is asked to quarantine for 10 days or produce a negative COVID test. But that is no longer required. People who are fully vaccinated are exempt from the travel advisory.
