Logan's Landing collecting food items this week

Dec. 5—Logan's Landing and the Chamber of Commerce will continue to collect non-perishable items and pet food donations until Friday, Dec. 9.

All donations received during the week will be divided between the Emmaus Mission Center, the Salvation Army and Logansport High School's Felix's Pantry.

Pet Supplies will go to Pets R Us, formerly known as the Cass County Humane Society.

Due to the diets of the dogs and cats at the shelter, Pets R Us is asking for donations of Purina Dog Chow, Purina Cat Chow and Purina Kitten Chow.

Drop off times are Monday through Friday from 1 until 5 p.m. at the Depot, 421 4th St.

Donors will receive a ticket for each item they donate. Tickets will be entered into a drawing for Logan's Landing bucks and gift certificates from downtown businesses.
