Logansport finishes third at speech meet

Dec. 13—The Logansport High School speech team opened their season Saturday, Dec. 9, with a third-place finish in the Welcome to Winter Invitational, hosted by the Berries.

The team finished one point out of second place and sent multiple competitors to the final round. Students from the Logansport Junior High speech team also participated.

Final placements included:

Radio: 12th, Alejandra Zamora-Arias; 7th, Eli Bault; 6th, Trajan Skinner; 5th, Alexa Sanchez-Agreda;

Original Performance: 3rd, Gracelyn Scott;

Declamation: 3rd, Jesus Ramirez-Padilla; 2nd, Kendal Kranz;

Discussion: 12th, Aiden Snoeberger; 8th, Saylor McClain;

Program Oral Interp: 3rd, Jasmine Zimmerman; 2nd, Emily Sanchez;

Duo: 7th, Jesus Ramirez-Padilla and Ared Ruiz; 6th, Axel Loran and Molly Hunnicutt; 5th, Abby Ebenhart and Eva Cook; 4th, Madilie Franco and Sofia Herrera; 3rd, Cooper Prifogle and Chris Knapp;
