Logansport man charged with three felonies for domestic incident

May 11—A Logansport man has been charged with three Level 6 felonies for an alleged May 9 incident.

Jeremy John Browning, 43, faces sentences of six months to two-and-a-half years on each of the felonies, domestic battery in the presence of a child less than 16 years old, strangulation and confinement.

At his May 11 initial hearing, Browning received an Aug. 24 trial date and pretrial hearings on June 6 and Aug. 5.

His bail is set at $500 cash.

According to court records, there were four witnesses to the alleged events, not including the person identified as a victim.

The juveniles were 3 and 9 years old.

Cass County Sheriff's deputies booked Browning into Cass County Jail on Sunday a 4:37 p.m.
