Lol, Meghan Markle's Half-Brother Think's He Might Be Invited to Archie's Royal Christening

From Cosmopolitan

  • Meghan Markle's half-brother Thomas Markle Jr just gave an interview talking about how he wants to be invited to Archie Harrison's baptism.

  • Thomas Jr has talked a lot of smack about Meghan in the past, so his chances of this happening don't look great!

It's been a while since we've heard from either Meghan Markle's dad Thomas Sr or her half-sister Samantha Markle, which could mean a couple of things-1) that Meghan is working on her relationship with her dad, 2) that Thomas is staying out of the spotlight to try and prove that he can be trustworthy or, 3) that the royal PR people have finally gotten a handle on the situation (lol). Or it could be something totally different! Regardless, things have pretty much calmed down with Meghan's family-that is, until Meg's estranged half-brother Thomas Markle Jr decided to publicly ask for an invitation to Archie's christening today.

A little background on Thomas Jr: Back in January, he invited Meghan to his wedding and decided to tell the Daily Mail about extending the invitation, saying that the ceremony "will bring the family closer together." And then a month later in February, presumably after Meg and Harry RSVP'd not attending, Thomas Jr gave another interview saying that Meghan "turned into a little Hollywood starlet" and basically blamed her for the whole family feud. Sigh.

Now, even after all that, Thomas Jr. is hoping for an invite to Archie's christening. He gave an interview today with Express, saying that he hopes a family reunion can take place at Archie's baptism. He says, “I can’t say whether I’m going to be invited, you know, I can’t say if Meghan is going to say, ‘OK, enough is enough and, yes, I want my family back in my life. That would be wonderful but I can’t answer that question. Of course we all want to be there, because that is a big deal.” He also adds, “I’m on a personal crusade to better the family image right now and it’s going be a slow, long process."

As a reminder, this is the same guy who wrote a public letter to Prince Harry before the royal wedding calling Meghan a "jaded, shallow, conceited woman that will make a joke of you and the royal family heritage." So, er, I'm guessing he's not going to get an invite any royal events any time soon!
