New London County COVID-19 vaccine tracker: 72% of people fully vaccinated

Some 72% of people living in New London County are fully vaccinated as of Nov. 30, according to data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention considers someone fully vaccinated two weeks after they've been given a single-dose shot (Johnson & Johnson) or a second shot (either Pfizer or Moderna).

Connecticut reported 421,692 total cases of coronavirus, an increase of 1% from the week before.

New London County has one of the five highest percentages of their population fully vaccinated in Connecticut as of Nov. 30.

The others in the top five are Middlesex County (77%), Fairfield County (74%), New Haven County (70%) and Litchfield County (69%).
