Just last month we reported on Tokyo’s magical new hedgehog café. Not to be outdone in the animal/food mashup stakes, London is getting a fancy new pop-up brunch destination especially for pups. Because, why not?

Dog parlour Pet Pavilion is teaming up with the famous Bluebird restaurant in Chelsea to launch Bites and Bones, perfect for lady dogs who like to lunch, or should we say brunch.

Your furry friends can take their pick from a three-course set menu, which includes venison sausage and brown rice to start, a chicken and lamb ‘barkenberg’ loaf for main, and for pudding a sweet potato and peanut butter macaron with gelato filling. Yum, sort of.

But the Michelin quality dining experience doesn’t end there because your pup can also sup on a dog-friendly beer, or ‘Pooch Hooch’ to wash it all down.

And for dogs who really like to let their fur down, there will be doggy discos and grooming workshops should a little extra pampering be required.

The pop-up launches on April 27 and runs until May 1.
