London Overground train drivers suspend strike action on Nov. 26 - union

LONDON (Reuters) -Train drivers working for London Overground have suspended strike action planned for Nov. 26, the trade union representing them said on Thursday.

Associated Society of Locomotive Engineers and Firemen (ASLEF) union said the decision followed a pay offer made to its members by the company, which will now be put to a vote.

Drivers working for 11 other train operators across Britain will still walk out on Nov. 26 in an ongoing dispute over pay, the union said.

It said members at Avanti West Coast, Chiltern Railways, CrossCountry, East Midlands Railway, Great Western Railway, Greater Anglia, London North Eastern Railway, Northern Trains, Southeastern, Transpennine Express and West Midlands Trains will still carry out planned strike action.
