London Zoo Asks Public to Name Newly Arrived Alpacas

London Zoo welcomed three new alpacas during the lockdown, and is now asking the public’s help in naming them ahead of its reopening on April 12.

“We’ve shortlisted three choices for each alpaca – partly inspired by some of the sweet treats that have kept us going through lockdown – which people can find at www.zsl.org/MeetTheAlpacas. We’re excited to find out if we’ll have an ‘Alpacaccino’ or a ‘Snowball’, a ‘Toffee’ or a ‘Cookie’– it’s up to our visitors now!” Alpaca keeper Veronica Heldt said. Credit: ZSL London Zoo via Storyful
