'Long Island Medium' Theresa Caputo returning to Erie's Warner Theatre for live experience

If you've ever wanted to see a medium or a star of a TV show live in action, you've got your chance for both this week in Erie.

Theresa Caputo, of the former TLC show "The Long Island Medium," will return to Erie for her fourth visit in eight years. She was also here in 2018, 2016 and 2014.

Caputo, who is celebrating her 10th anniversary of being on tour, will stop Thursday at the Warner Theatre, 811 State St. "Theresa Caputo Live! The Experience" is set to start at 7:30 p.m., with tickets ranging from $37.75 to $87.75. Purchasing a ticket does not guarantee an audience member will receive a reading by Caputo.

On her website, Caputo, who is in her mid-50s, said she has been "feeling and sensing Spirit since I was 4 years old, but it wasn’t until I was in my 20s that I learned to communicate with souls in Heaven." At the Warner, she is expected to "share personal stories about her life and explain how her gift works" as well as "deliver healing messages to audience members," according to information from Erie Events.

“The experience isn’t about believing in mediums. It’s about witnessing something life-changing” Caputo said in a news release from Erie Events. “It’s like 'Long Island Medium' live, witnessing firsthand spirit communication.”

Her show ran on TLC from 2011 to 2019, following Caputo's life as a mother of two and a medium in Hicksville, New York.

The author of several books, her latest, “Good Grief: Heal Your Soul, Honor Your Loved Ones, and Learn to Live Again,” was released in 2017.
