Long Line of Cars Stretches for Blocks Around Dodger Stadium COVID-19 Testing Site in Los Angeles
A massive line formed around the Dodger Stadium COVID-19 testing site in Los Angeles, California, on Monday, November 16, as cases continue to spike nationwide.
Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti recently announced the city’s plans to extend opening hours and increase capacity at testing sites. The drive-through site at Dodger Stadium is now open from 8 am to 8 pm.
On November 12, Garcetti announced that Los Angeles would offer free COVID-19 testing to all residents.
California Gov Gavin Newsom announced on Monday that the state would be scaling back reopening and issuing tighter restrictions, according to local news reports. The California Department of Public Health also issued a travel advisory for non-essential travel ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday.
