Long queue for tests as Shanghai battles COVID spike

"I think this (COVID curb at Disney) is part of a dynamic epidemic prevention plan because my child started online classes at home. I think many schools in Shanghai today will do this. Us parents are slowly getting used to it. This is also a personal commitment and sacrifice we make as Chinese citizens to the government and our society," said 35-year-old resident Fang Yi.

While much of the world has started to open up, China has vowed to stick to its zero-tolerance approach to COVID-19 with lockdowns and mass testing imposed when even a single case is found.
