Memphis is expected to have wind chills below zero through the weekend. While the wind chills won't be that low during the following week, they will be in the low to high 20s.

The National Weather Service said that surface temperatures and wind chills will be similar on Thursday morning, but a cold front over the weekend will bring the wind chills back down to the negatives. The weather service said temperatures are expected to return to normal on Monday next week.

Chance of sleet/snow on Thursday

On Thursday, Memphis is predicted to have a chance for freezing rain. The rain is expected to last for most of the day with the chance for freezing rain coming in the morning. There is not expected to be much accumulation of ice if there is any. This is the last chance of rain and sleet through the weekend.
