Long-time Irish pub closing after 33 years in Lancaster
THE CITY OF LANCASTER (WHTM) — A long-time Irish pub recently announced its upcoming closure in Lancaster.
O’Halloran’s Irish Pub & Eatery, which is located on 764 High Street in Lancaster, first opened its doors in the Cabbage Hill neighborhood of Lancaster City back in 1991, according to their website.
Back on Sunday, February 18, the long-time pub announced on Facebook that it would be closing its doors after more than three decades in business.

“It is with deep sorrow that we must announce the permanent closing of O’Halloran’s Irish Pub,” O’Halloran’s Irish Pub & Eatery shared on Facebook. “For 33 years, O’Halloran’s has been your faithful neighborhood go-to corner bar. A deep-rooted legacy and a staple of Cabbage Hill. O’Halloran’s and its staff has been an establishment that is proud and honored to have served you over the past 3 decades.”

According to O’Halloran’s Irish Pub & Eatery, they will still be offering its full holiday menu for St. Patrick’s Day on Sunday, March 17, but they will then begin transitioning to a lighter menu beginning the following day on March 18.
O’Halloran’s Irish Pub & Eatery’s official last day of business will be Saturday, April 27. Until their closure, the pub’s hours of operation will be:
Mondays – Saturdays // 7 a.m. to 12 a.m.
Sundays // 9 a.m. to 12 a.m.
“We look forward to serving you until the very end. Until the last drop is poured, until the last plate is served, until the lights are outened, and until the door is locked one last time,” O’Halloran’s Irish Pub & Eatery added.
