Longmont 'Coffee with Council' set for Saturday morning

Oct. 22—Longmont residents can meet with two City Council members Saturday morning to talk about any issue or topic on those residents' minds, during the final monthly "Coffee with Council" meeting of the year.

While it's not scheduled to be a campaign event, Saturday's 9 to 10 a.m. gathering at the Lashley Street Station, 1200 Lashley St., is to feature the two council members competing in this year's three-candidate election contest for mayor — incumbent Ward 1 Councilman Tim Waters and incumbent Councilwoman At-Large Joan Peck, who are vying with Gregory Harris in the race for the mayor's post.

Due to the upcoming holidays, there are no Coffee with Council meetings scheduled in November and December.
