Longmont police notes: Stolen vehicles found

Dec. 6—Monday

Longmont police were dispatched to the 1800 block of East Ken Pratt Boulevard for what was initially an agency assist. During the investigation, numerous stolen vehicles were located. This case is still under investigation.

Police began investigating a man for failure to register as a sex offender. The case remains under investigation.

An employee of a Longmont business reported a theft in the 1700 block of Iron Horse Drive. There are no investigative leads.

12:01 a.m. Officers were dispatched to the 1900 block of Terry Street on the report of a burglary. A report was taken.

8:10 a.m. A Longmont resident reported a first-degree criminal trespass and a theft in the 2300 block of Wedgewood Ave. There are no investigative leads.

1:03 p.m. Officers were dispatched to the 200 block of Pinnacle Street on the report of a theft. A report was taken.

3 p.m. Longmont police responded to the area of Gay Street and Longs Peak Avenue in reference to a motor vehicle collision. A man was later taken into custody.

3:11 p.m. A resident reported a first-degree criminal trespass and a theft in the 1700 block of 20th Ave. There are no investigative leads.

5:51 p.m. An officer responded to the 600 block of Martin Street in response to a disturbance. It was found a woman had thrown a rock, cracking the windshield of a vehicle. The female was cited for criminal mischief.

7:07 p.m. Longmont police conducted a traffic stop in the area of Hover Street and 17th Avenue. A man was contacted and arrested for outstanding warrants.

Sunday

9:30 p.m. Officers responded to the 1800 block of East Ken Pratt Boulevard on an outside agency assist for locating a stolen trailer and a stolen UTV. The recovered vehicles were released to the owner.

Friday

10:14 a.m. Officers contacted and arrested a man in the parking lot of the Super 8 Hotel, 2446 Main St. for the possession and distribution of 20.374 kilograms of powder fentanyl — a Schedule II drug.

Longmont officers investigated a trespass in the 4900 block of Nelson Road. Three juvenile females were found to be on school property and are not students at the school. One juvenile was uncooperative and was arrested and later released on a referral. The other two have been identified and will be charged accordingly. This case was cleared by arrest.

3:16 p.m. Officers responded to a vehicle break-in, in the area of St. Vrain Road near Airport Road. The investigation is still being completed to attempt to identify a suspect.

6:25 p.m. Officers responded to a vehicle break-in in the 900 block of Longs Peak Avenue. The incident is still under investigation.

10:47 p.m. Officers responded to the 1900 block of Main Street for a pedestrian contact. Information was gathered, and a man was arrested.
