Longmont Police Rescue Owl

The bird was discovered with injuries to its legs and will undergo rehab.

- Longmont police rescue an owl. Officer Kaplan and McCarthy helped the bird with injuries to its legs on Saturday. It was rescued from the southwest side of Longmont, taken to the Birds of Prey shelter in Louisville. Once it's fully healed, the owl will be returned to that same area where they found it.
