The New Orleans Pelicans will again be without Lonzo Ball on Friday when they close their road trip with a stop against the Warriors in California. Ball will miss his second straight game with a sprained right thumb.

Josh Hart and Zion Williamson remain out along with Ball. Steven Adams and Wes Iwundu are both questionable along with Brandon Ingram, who has been upgraded to questionable after being doubtful for a string of games with his left ankle sprain.

New Orleans was eliminated from playoff contention with their loss to the Grizzlies. With just two games left in the regular season, that could dictate how the team handles these injury situations to close out the regular season. On the other hand, the Pelicans are currently ninth in the lottery standings and can only move down to as low as eighth by season’s end.

After Friday’s game, the Pelicans finish the year at home against the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday afternoon.
