Lonzo Ball set to appear on LeBron James' 'The Shop'

LeBron James’ HBO talk show “The Shop” typically features a lot of stars and athletes. There have only been four episodes and they’ve already featured Odell Beckham Jr., Snoop Dogg, Candace Parker, Draymond Green, Ben Simmons, Meek Mill and Ice Cube.

The next episode of “The Shop” is just as star studded as you’d expect. But it features one name in particular that should raise an eyebrow or two. Can you guess which one?

Hidden in that long list of Twitter handles is @ZO2, also known as Lonzo Ball, James’ teammate on the Los Angeles Lakers.

It was a rocky year for both Ball and James. Both dealt with injuries during what ended up being a supremely disappointing Lakers season. And with Ball’s outspoken dad LaVar around, drama was never far away. But despite all that, the two praised each other frequently and seemed to get along just fine.

With Ball leaving Big Baller Brand behind in every way and appearing to move on from some of his dad’s orchestrations (he’s hired a new agent and covered up his BBB tattoo), there’s also the possibility that he might join James at Nike. Could the two of them talk about that during their chat?

It’s possible, but there will be a lot more happening in that episode beyond a sit-down with Lonzo Ball. DeAndre Hopkins of the Houston Texans will also be appearing in the episode, as will rapper Travis Scott, singer-songwriter Pharrell, actors Don Cheadle and Seth Rogen, and record producer Jimmy Iovine.

The episode premieres on May 4 at 10 p.m. on HBO, so you won’t have to wait long to see LeBron and Lonzo (and everyone else) in action.
