Luxury real estate sales in 2023 in Oconee County included massive estates, lots of acreage and conveniently located new builds .
The most expensive home that sold in the year closed at over $2.5 million and included 10 acres of land.
Average sale prices for luxury homes, a price point of at least $600,00, hovered at $1.01 million in December, up 25% from January, according to the market analysis report of Jennifer Varnadoe, COO of Caldwell Banker Upchurch Realty. Inventory increased by over 60% since January, having 10.4 months of real estate on hand, which means that buyers have more high-end real estate to choose from, Varnadoe noted.
