PORTLAND, Ore. (Portland Tribune) — In the era of streaming, it seems like no one watches anything live these days. But for weeks on end, these Portland area residents made us take to our couches and turn on the tube as they competed on reality TV shows.

Together, we watched them go head-to-head using their intelligence, talent and skill, inspiring us to hold watch parties, form fan clubs and even put up billboards to cheer them on.
