Alamogordo High School and New Mexico State Univeristy-Alamogordo will celebrate this year's graduates later this month.

Here's what to know about upcoming commencement ceremonies.

Alamogordo High School

  • 7 p.m. Friday, May 26 at the Alamogordo High School Tiger Stadium, 103 Cuba Avenue

New Mexico State University-Alamogordo

  • 6 p.m. Friday, May 12 at the Tays Center at NMSU-Alamogordo, 2400 N. Scenic Drive

Cloudcroft High School

  • 10 a.m. Saturday, May 20 inside the High School gym, 10 Swallow Place

Tularosa High School

  • 7 p.m. Friday, May 19 at the Bob Cerny Football Stadium, 1305 8th Street

Things to know before attending Alamogordo High commencement

Those attending Alamogordo High School graduation should park on west side of the stadium; Tiger Drive off First street.

According to Alamogordo Public School officials, in the event of inclement weather the graduation will be moved into the Tiger pit and each graduate will only be allowed two guests.

Any adults that accompany a handicapped guest must have a ticket that attendees can get through Jessica Fussell.

Guests are asked to contact Fussell after Saturday, May 13 at 575-812-6502 to obtain a ticket. Guests will be required to present a state-issued handicapped placard to get a ticket.

APS reminds guests that no animals, weapons, alcoholic beverages, or electronic cigarettes are allowed on the school property during the ceremony. During the ceremony only officials will be allowed on the field with the graduates. No cameras or video equipment will be allowed on the field or in the handicapped section.

After the ceremony parents are allowed on the field with graduates but are asked that only flat-soled shoes are worn on the field.
