LIl Wayne, just 40, is opening up about a health issue usually associated with older folks.

The rapper, born Dwayne Carter Jr, admitted that his memory is failing in a recent interview with Rolling Stone.

“That’s just my God’s honest truth,” Weezy told the music magazine. “You could lie, you could ask me [about] such and such song, I wouldn’t even know what we talking about.”

Despite this setback, the hip hop legend is currently on the road, having kicked off his “Welcome to Tha Carter Tour” in April in support of his 14th album, “Tha Carter VI.”

Despite putting out a new record, he says he has little recollection of the ones that came before.

“I don’t even know when “Tha Carter III” came out,” said the musician of the 2008 chart topper. “That’s how much I don’t know.”

It’s unclear what is causing the “Lollipop” singer’s issues, or if dementia runs in his family. The New Orleans native has suffered various seizures over the years, which he says were caused by not taking medication for his epilepsy, a condition that can affect memory.

The local basketball fan, who is often seen courtside at Miami Heat games, is able to see the silver lining in his condition, however.

“I always look at it as part of the gift and the curse,” Wayne said. “I believe [God] blessed me with this amazing mind, but would not give [me] an amazing memory to remember this amazing s--t.”

Will stumbling to recall old songs slow him down? Not a chance.

“I work every day, bro — every single day... I don’t stop working,” Wayne said. “When you’re an artist — a real artist like myself, I was born this way. So I don’t think that the real true artists and pioneers, they never retire. They died doing this.”
