LOOK: Texas RB Bijan Robinson poses with Ezekiel Elliott

Texas running back Bijan Robinson has had a fantastic start to the 2021 college football season.

Through seven games, he’s compiled 924 yards rushing and 10 touchdowns on 146 carries. On top of that, he is averaging 6.3 yards per carry and has recorded six 100-yard games this season.

There is no question that Robinson is the heart and soul of Texas’ offense.

The one moment in particular that caught the college football world by storm was Robinson’s impressive 50-yard run against Oklahoma.

Numerous former and current NFL players have since showered him with praise on social media for his performances, such as Reggie Bush and Patrick Mahomes.

Now, Robinson had the luxury of hanging out with Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott. Texas running backs coach Stan Drayton developed Elliott while at Ohio State, and now has the same opportunity with Robinson.

Only time will tell if Robinson will have a similar draft stock and professional career as Elliott, but the odds are looking very strong at this point. They both have/had the luxury of learning under one of the top coaches in the game.

The Longhorns No. 2 running back Roschon Johnson was also present for the picture.
