Looking for a Chinese buffet? Here are five in the Peoria area to try

Over the past few years, a number of Chinese buffets have shuttered in central Illinois. Grand Village Buffet in East Peoria, China Inn Buffet in Canton and Hong Kong Buffet in Peoria all closed their doors.

On March 9, though, Hong Kong Buffet made a comeback and brought Chinese buffets back to Peoria. Another new business — Feast Buffet — is planning on opening soon off Brandywine Drive.

The openings and announcements have sparked a wave of interest from the community, with one Facebook review receiving over 130 comments.

So, if you are looking for a Chinese buffet to try, here are five in the area:

Hong Kong Sushi Buffet

Hong Kong Sushi Buffet offers a variety of Chinese, Japanese and American cuisine. Customers at the restaurant will also find a sushi bar.

The business is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.

Fast Dragon Buffet
