Looking for a Christmas tree? Here are all the places to check out across Centre County

Christmas tree season has a different look this year, the first since Tannenbaum Farms closed after decades in operation. There are still several familiar spots across Centre County selling spruces and firs as well as a few up-and-coming locations. Here’s a closer look at local Christmas tree sellers.

Cannizzaro Christmas Tree Shoppe

Located at Meyer Dairy, 2390 S. Atherton St., State College. Tree varieties include Fraser, Douglas, Canaan, concolor, blue spruce, Eastern white pine, Siberian, Norwegian and grand. Prices range from $43 to $80. Hours: 11a.m.-6 p.m. Monday-Friday and 9 a.m.-7 p.m. Saturday

Cingel’s Tree Farm

147 Dairy St., Clarence. The farm offers Fraser and spruce trees, up to as much as 12 feet. Some are precut. Cost is $35 and payment is expected when a tree is cut/taken home. “We are always open, but not always home,” the farm says on Facebook. When the owners are not there, visitors can cut their tree and leave payment in a box.

Conklin’s Corner Antique & Gift Barn

670 Tyrone Pike, Philipsburg. Trees are precut and cost $30 plus tax. Hours: 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday-Saturday and noon-8 p.m. Sunday.

Evergreen Ridge LLC

1503 Dix Run Road, Julian. Cut your own trees. Varieties include Douglas, balsam, Fraser and Canaan fir, white pine and white spruce. All trees priced at $40. Hours: 1-5 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Harner Farm

2191 W. Whitehall Road, State College. Trees are precut or cut your own. Varieties include Fraser fir, concolor and Douglas fir. Trees are priced at $10 per foot. Wreaths and swags are also available. Hours: 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Saturday and noon-5 p.m. Sunday.

Kuhns Tree Farm

2112 Boal Ave., Boalsburg. Precut Fraser firs are available or cut your own. Prices range from $62 to $250. The farm also offers wreaths. Hours: 9 a.m-5 p.m. Tuesday-Sunday.

Living Faith Acres

121 Crater Lane, Spring Mills. Varieties include Scotch pine, Fraser fir, blue spruce, concolor and Douglas fir. Wreaths are also available. Prices range from $25-90. Hours: 5:30-8:30 p.m. Monday-Friday and 9 a.m.-9 p.m. Saturday

Remodelers Workshop

105 Stonecrest Drive, Bellefonte. Varieties include Fraser fir, Douglas fir, concolor and blue spruce and prices range from $40 to $90. Services offered include netting, shaking and tree trimming. Hours: 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday-Saturday and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday

Tait Farm Trees

121 Tait Road, Centre Hall. Choose a precut silver fir or cut your own. Trees up to 8 feet cost $125. Ornaments and wreaths are on sale in the shop. Hours: 9 a.m.-6 p.m. daily.

Tuckaway Tree Farm

13872 Alan Seeger Road, Petersburg. The farm is open for its first year and has some Douglas firs left for choose and cut at $50 plus tax. The shop features wreaths, candles and other items. Hours: 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, noon-4 p.m. Sunday and weekdays by appointment.

Wasscott Fields and Farm

289 Williams Road, Centre Hall. There are precut Fraser firs (left over from Tannenbaum’s), concolor fir, blue spruce and Korean fir. Prices range from $25-$100. They also have Tannenbaum’s wreath-making tables. Hours: 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
