Enjoy your dinner with panoramic views of Mount Hope Bay at Pier 52. To accompany the views enjoy the Crab Rangoon Nachos with jumbo lump crab, cheddar, charred bell pepper, wonton chips, chives, toasted sesame, and sweet chili ($17). A great summer dish is the Banh Mi Tacos on a flour tortilla with hoisin pork, kewpie, pickled broccoli slaw, jalapeno, and radish ($16). You can't go wrong with ending the night with a Waffle Churro Sundae, with buttermilk waffle, vanilla ice cream, Dulce De Leche, and cinnamon.

Merrill's is a harbor-front restaurant that provides a front-row seat of the country's most valuable fishing port. Located on the Westport River where they oyster farm their own oysters is Westport Sea Farms. You obviously have to try a Flight with one Riptide, Taber Point, Spindrift, and  Beach Plum Oyster served with mignonette, rice wine cucumber, and lemon ($11). A Lobster Salad would be a smart entree choice, a garden salad with oil and vinegar dressing on the side topped with lobster dressed in lemon chive mayo ($33).

Located on Pier 3, Whale's Tail is as close to the fish as it gets. Right on the water, you have to go with Clam Cakes and Chowder — half-dozen clam cakes and a bowl of chowder ($14.95). Once that's done get the Fishermen’s Platter which is good for sharing and has scallops, whole belly clams, shrimp, and lightly breaded, or battered cod ($34.95). Key Lime Pie ($6.95) with end the delicious journey.
