Community Easter egg hunt

The annual Astatula community Easter egg hunt starts at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 9 at the Astatula Baptist Church, 13239 Florida Avenue.

Easter fundraiser and festival

Take a day to help DreamCatcher Horse Rescue at its annual Easter fundraiser and festival from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 10 at 10639 Toad Road in Clermont. There will be horse and pony rides, feedings, hay rides, hot dog stand and refreshments and a meeting with the Easter Bunny.

Easter at Southern Hill Farms

Celebrate Easter with Citrus Church at Southern Hill Farms at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, April 17 at the church, 16651 Schofield Road. This free outdoor Easter worship service will take place under a covered pavilion. Lunch will be available for purchase from food trucks and there will be an Easter Egg Hunt for children.

Eustis

Hoppy Hunting Easter Egg Hunt

Hop on over to Atwood Farms, 36111 North County Road 44-A, for some egg-citing fun from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, April 9. A local pastor will tell the story of the Easter Bunny at 10 a.m. Kids can also hunt for Easter Eggs, take pictures with the Easter Bunny, and more. Attendees should bring their Easter baskets and bunny smiles.

Admission is $5 in advance, $7 at the door. Kids 2 and under are free. Each age group has a specific time for their hunt.

Easter Eggstravaganza at Trinity Eustis

From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday April 9, Trinity Church, 890 Abrams Road, is hosting an Easter Eggstravaganza. There will be Easter activities for kids, food trucks, a live blue-grass band, bounce houses, and more.

Toddlers of Lake County Easter egg hunt

Toddlers of Lake County, in partnership with Eustis Parks and Recreation, is hosting an egg hunt and more at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 12 at Ferran Park, 250 Ferran Park Drive. Come out for story time by the Eustis Memorial Library, balloons by Katrina, hair by Gabby and much more.

This event is free and for children 5 and under.

First Light Easter Sunday service

On Sunday, April 17, visit the First Presbyterian Church of Eustis, 117 S Center Street, for a first light service at 8 a.m., a contemporary Easter worship service at 9:30 a.m. in the fellowship hall or at 11 a.m. for the traditional Easter service in the sanctuary.

“Restored” One Service

The Lake Eustis Christian Church will host its One Service on Easter Sunday at 10 a.m. This mega-service will combine all their regular services into one for a huge Easter celebration. They meet at Eustis High School, 1300 E Washington Avenue.

Bring the kiddos for a family-fun time Easter weekend from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, April 16 on the Skip Haymans Rec Park Grounds at LifePointe Church in Eustis, 3551 East Orange Avenue.

The church will have bounce houses and yard games, face painting, hamburgers and hotdogs for sale, and a huge Easter Egg Hunt for kids.

Leesburg

Brunch with the Easter Bunny, dog egg hunt

Join the Leesburg Parks and Recreation Department for its annual Brunch with the Bunny event from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 16 at the Venetian Center, 1 Dozier Circle. Families can enjoy breakfast food and take pictures with the Easter Bunny. The event will end with an Easter egg hunt for the children in attendance. Brunch is $10 per person in advance and $12 at the door.

The city will also host its first ever Dog Easter Egg Hunt at 3 p.m. the same day at Leesburg Dog Park, 9745 Silver Lake Drive. Dog treats will be placed inside plastic eggs for our four legged friends to enjoy. It costs $2 per dog.

The GraceWay Church Celebration Choir will presents “The Wondrous Cross,” a musical event for Easter, at 6 p.m. on Palm Sunday, April 10 at the church,

Come celebrate Easter with an old-fashioned Easter egg hunt at the W.T. Bland Public Library, 1995 N Donnelly Street, at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 16. The event is geared toward children ages 10 and under. Activities will include a photo op with the Easter Bunny, Mount Dora Fire Department, free book give-away for children, kissing booth with PAWS therapy dogs and sweet treats.

Egg hunts are grouped by age and ability. No registration is required for this free program.
