As more COVID-19 cases are announced and novel coronavirus fears increase, citizens have flocked to grocery, convenience and home goods stores in mass to stock up on food, supplies and sanitizers.

This has caused many retailers to alter their operating hours to keep up with demand and have enough time to restock their shelves and sanitize their stores.

On Tuesday, Miami-Dade Mayor Carlos Gimenez signed an order to close all bars, dine-in restaurants, movie theaters, gyms, bowling alleys and other similar businesses in the county by 11 p.m. Tuesday. Kitchens at the restaurants can remain open, but only for takeout and delivery. The order doesn’t affect grocery stores, pharmacies, gas stations and convenience stores.
