Looking for Halloween and fall activities in the Athens area? Here's what you need to know

At this time last year, the Athens area was just beginning to open up for large outdoor gatherings like the annual Wild Rumpus parade, bringing together a community that the COVID-19 pandemic had largely kept apart for more than a year.

As daytime temperatures begin to mercifully drop below 80 degrees this month, the list of fall 2022 activities for the Classic City includes some cool events that you might even be able to wear a costume to without breaking a sweat.

Whether you're looking for things to do indoors or outside, something here is bound to pique your interest and get you in the spirit of the season.
