Looking for Halloween-themed events? Here's what's happening in Aberdeen.

Halloween events kick off more than a week early with the annual haunted forest at Wylie Park and resume the following weekend with a new haunted house event on the second floor of the Engels Event Center.

Here's a list of Halloween-related events in Aberdeen.

Haunted forest

From 6:30-10:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday with a children's matinee from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday. Ticket sales begin at 6:30 p.m. each night at the Wylie Park Pavilion. Admission is $15 for the evening shows and $5 for the children's walk-through. Advance tickets are available at the Aberdeen Parks & Recreation Office, Dacotah Bank, Aberdeen Area Federal Credit Union and Kamerud Chiropractic.

Kids Halloween party

From 2-4 p.m. on Sunday at Aberdeen Moose Lodge, 410 Ninth Ave. S.W. Free event featuring costume judging and opportunities to paint pumpkins, do crafts and games and have lunch.

Ghoul's Gala

From 6-9 p.m. on Oct. 28 at the YAPAtorium. Dance, games and costume contest.

Fall festival

from 5:30-8 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran School on Oct. 28. Free meal served from 5:30-6:30 p.m., games begin at 6 p.m. in the gym.

Spooktacular Family Fun Night

From 6-8 p.m. on Oct. 28 at the Aberdeen Family YMCA. Enjoy fun, games, prizes and more. Free to YMCA members and $10 for non members.

Rocky Horror Picture Show: PRIDE costume contest

At 6 p.m. on Oct. 28 at the Red Rooster Coffee House, 218 S. Main St. Sponsored by Aberdeen Area PRIDE, Fallout Creative Community, Red Rooster Coffee House and Capital Cinema this event includes a costume and karaoke party at the Red Rooster. The prizes for best costumes are tickets to the Rocky Horror Picture show at 10 p.m. at Capitol Theatre. Tickets to the show are $9. The Rocky Horror Picture Show continues through Oct. 31 with shows at 7 p.m. on Oct. 29 and Oct. 31 and a 2 p.m. show on Oct. 30.

Halloween Haunted House

From 4-9:30 p.m. on Oct. 28-29, Engels Event Center, 209 S. Main St. Tickets are $10 and available at eventbrite.com/e/engels-haunted-house-tickets-415432759567?aff=ebdssbdestsearch. Event features drink specials, guided tours and haunted frights.

Ghoulie Bash

From 4-10:30 p.m. on Oct. 29 at the Red Rooster Coffee House. Enjoy 10 musical acts a costume contest prizes and spooky snacks. Enjoy music performances by Citricity, Dead Wind, Low Embers, Better Ride, GDWFLRCKT, Bear Fighting Bear, The Joeys, E. Brondo, Sierra LeBeau and Noodle.

Halloween free skate event

A free skate day is planned on Oct. 30 at the Odde Ice Arena from 6:15-9 p.m. Admission is free for those in costume. This event is sponsored by the Aberdeen Parks, Recreation and Forestry Department.

Plymouth Congregational Trunk or Treat

Oct. 30, 3-5 p.m., Plymouth Congregational United Church of Christ, 431 W. Melgaard Road.

New Life Trunk or Treat

Oct. 30, 2-5 p.m. at New Life Fellowship at 619 Eighth Ave. N.W. and 1-4 p.m. at New Life Fellowship at 214 First Ave. S.E. Enjoy inflatables, train rides, food trucks, a laser maze and more at the Eighth Avenue campus and hayrides, hot dogs, drills with the Presentation College football team and a bouncy house at the First Avenue campus downtown.

Zion Lutheran Trunk or Treat

From 4-6 p.m. Oct. 30, at Zion Lutheran Church, 1732 S. Main St. Enjoy hot dogs, chips and dessert served from 5 to 6 p.m.

Trick or treat on Main Street

From 3-5 p.m. on Oct. 31 at Aberdeen's downtown businesses on North Main Street. Swing by Kessler's and Aberdeen Federal Credit Union for trick or treating at 3 p.m. as well.

Trick or treat night at the library

From 3-5:30 p.m. on Oct. 31 at the K.O. Lee Aberdeen Public Library, 215 Fourth Ave. S.E.

Trunk or Treat at AutoMaxx

From 3-6 p.m. on Oct. 31 at AutoMaxx of Aberdeen.

Hocus Pocus photos

From 4-6 p.m. on Oct. 31 at Uptown Aberdeen. Come and see if you can find the three witches from "Hocus Pocus." Ann's Artography will be at the mall taking photos, prices vary.

Trick-or-treating at Uptown Aberdeen

From 5-6 p.m. on Oct. 31 at Uptown Aberdeen, 3315 Sixth Ave. S.E.

Harvest party

From 6-8:30 p.m. on Oct. 31 at Aberdeen First Assembly, 1424 24th Ave. N.W. Free meal, Mario Kart competition, laser tag, jail escape room, hay rides, campfire and smores, face painting, costume contest and more. For children who are toddlers through sixth grade.

Trick or treating in Groton

From 4-6 p.m. on Oct. 31 trick or treat in downtown Groton.

Groton Trunk or Treat

From 7-8:30 p.m. at Groton United Methodist Church, 906 N. First St.
