This adorable and charismatic girl is ready to romp right into your heart! Riley is a fun and energetic goofball looking for a family who will help her gain the confidence she needs with training and socialization.

Riley is 1 year old and weighs about 30 pounds. She has red wiry coat and big, endearing brown eyes.

She loves to play with toys and be around people. She has lots of energy and will need a family willing to give her lots of exercise and stimulation.

Riley would do best as the only pet while she has time to learn and blossom, but she has enjoyed play dates at the shelter and has had a blast. She would do best in a home with older children who will give her space. Riley can be a bit fearful of new people so she will need a patient family who will give her time to get comfortable. But once she trusts you, she will be forever yours!

Cat Rescue & Adoption Network

Gwynn and Frilla are a bonded pair of adorable 7-month-old gray female teenager kittens, who are playful, outgoing and friendly.

These girls love nothing more than to be in your presence and get pets. They will romp through the house, and then when it's snuggle-time, they are inseparable (they must be adopted together).

If you're looking for affectionate, attention-loving kitties to cuddle with, these girls are yours. Gwynn and Frilla are spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and negative for FeLV and FIV.

Bark in the Park returns

Greenhill Humane Society’s longest running and largest fundraiser, Bark in the Park, returns Sunday at Alton Baker Park. After a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic, with onsite registration begins at 7 a.m. with the 10K, 5K starting at 8:30 a.m., and the 2K beginning at 9:45 a.m., followed by contests and vendor giveaways.

Nearly a thousand dogs and their humans are expected to participate in this year’s event. The event, which celebrates the human-animal bond is also one of Greenhill’s largest fundraisers of the year with a goal of raising $100,000 to help care for over 3,100 animals in 2022.

Festivities include the run, the walk, canine activities, vendor booths, food trucks, demonstrations, contests and more. Bark in the Park is the largest pet event in the Southern Willamette Valley and one of the largest run/walks in Eugene. Runners can participate as an individual (with or without a dog) or join a team.

In addition to caring for over 3,000 homeless, lost and neglected pets, Greenhill programs include, but are not limited to: adoption services, education, Community Pet Pantry, domestic violence assistance, senior assistance, pet retention assistance, spay/neuter programs, disaster response, volunteer opportunities and foster care.

  • When: Sunday, May 15, activities begin at 7 a.m. running until noon.

  • Register: In advance until Saturday is $20 and includes a doggie bandana or $35 with a doggie bandana and a T-shirt for humans. Ages 12 and younger are free to register and may purchase a T-shirt. Day-of is $25 with a doggie bandana or $40 with a doggie bandana and a T-shirt (while supplies last).
