Dorit is a friendly, affectionate 2-year-old pitbull with black fur and white markings. She can be a bit shy initially, but she warms up quickly. She loves to run around and zoom outside, walks well on leash and would make the perfect couch buddy. She is a very loving and silly pup once you earn her trust.

“I love Dorit," A Greenhill member said. "She is so playful when she shows off her toys and is extremely affectionate and gentle. She gives little kisses often.”

Dorit should meet any dog siblings at the shelter prior to adoption and should have a slow introduction to any kitty friends. She would do OK with kids who can respect her space. She weighs between 56-60 lbs., is spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccines.

Greenhill Humane Society is open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily at 88530 Green Hill Road in Eugene. For more information, call 541-689-1503 or visit green-hill.org.

Tucker is an affectionate 5-year-old slightly fluffy pale orange tabby male cat who loves to snuggle up with his people. He came to the rescue when his human died. He needs a patient adopter who understands he’ll need a safe place to hide away at first, and plenty of time to acclimate. He’s good with other cats, but wants to hog his human’s attention. Tucker is a playful, curious, and loving boy who deserves a stable forever home.

He is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and negative for FeLV & FIV. To meet him, call 541-225-4955 option 1, or visit the website CatRescues.org.
