Oreo
Oreo

Oreo is a young, 80-pound dog looking for a family of his own. He loves adventures, people and four-legged friends. Oreo's joy is contagious, but the humane society is seeing him start to lose hope that someone is coming for him. He has been at the shelter for 200 days and is the longest-term resident at the moment.

To see Oreo, stop by the shelter, 2840 Rhododendron Drive, Florence, or apply online at oregoncoasthumanesociety.org.

Sparrow
Sparrow

Meet Sparrow, or as his foster parent calls him, Ro. He is a 1-year-old brown Labrador retriever mix who is smart and eager to please. He came into the shelter lacking some confidence but has made progress while in his foster home. Sparrow loves romping around in a yard and would make a great adventure buddy. He's snuggly and enjoys sleeping in bed with his foster parents.

Sparrow loves the company of other dogs but is still learning how to properly play with them. He would do best as the only dog in the home as he matures but could do OK with certain dogs. Sparrow would do well in a cat-free home with older kids. He weighs about 60 lbs., is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. Sparrow is currently in a foster home so if you are interested in meeting him, give the shelter a call.

Greenhill Humane Society is open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily at 88530 Green Hill Road in Eugene. For more information, call 541-689-1503 or visit green-hill.org.
