Looking for Michigan vs. Michigan State football tickets? Prepare to spend hundreds

It's the start of Michigan vs. Michigan State football week.

And this matchup is one we've been waiting for decades: Undefeated No. 6 Michigan at undefeated No. 7 Michigan State.

The last time both teams met ranked inside the top 10 was 1964 (a Wolverines win). The last time they both were unbeaten was 2010 (a Spartans win).

As you can imagine, tickets for Saturday's noon matchup (Fox) at Spartan Stadium in East Lansing are going to cost you a few Ben Franklin's and then some.

SeatGeek's cheapest tickets are $243, but fees put the final price at $326.

StubHub's cheapest pair is $277 each, but service fees hike the price to $350 each.

The Wolverines are coming off a 33-7 home win over lowly Northwestern — a team Michigan State defeated in its opener, 38-21 on the road.

MSU was on a bye last week.

Michigan has won the past two games at Spartan Stadium, in 2016 and 2018, as coach Jim Harbaugh is 2-0 on the road in the rivalry, but 3-3 overall. The Spartans stunned the Wolverines last season in Ann Arbor, 27-24, for Mel Tucker's first win as head coach.

Michigan leads the all-time series first played in 1898, 71-37-5, but Michigan State has won 9 of 13. This century, Michigan leads 11-10.
