Looking for a place for a holiday party? These Wilmington-area restaurants have private rooms

Need space for a family holiday meal? Or maybe you're organizing a special brunch with the ladies. Or you need to host a part for 25, 50 or more. What do you do? Depending on the size and the need of the event, you can turn to restaurants in the Wilmington area that have space for parties of any size. Here’s a look at what’s available.

22 North: This restaurant and bar at 22 N. Lumina Ave. in Wrightsville Beach is booking holiday parties for groups of 20 or more. Details: Call or text 910-352-1973.

Bluewater Waterfront Grill: This restaurant on the Intracoastal Waterway can host parties of all sizes, from 10 to 300 at 4 Marina St., Wrightsville Beach. Details: www.bluewaterdining.com, coastalevents@lmrest.com, 910-599-1337.

Bougie Nights: A lounge next to manna hosts events like performances and book signings. It’s also available for private events and can accommodate 30 guests for a seated dinner party or has standing room for 150. Brunswick Beer and Cider: In Leland, this spacious restaurant and brewery has a separate space that's available for private events in the Brunswick Forest community at 1313 S. Dickinson Drive. Details: https://brunswickbeerandcider.com.

Cape Fear Seafood Company: Locations in Monkey Junction, Leland and Porters Neck have private dining rooms that can seat 10-40 people, depending on the site. A special menu includes options for plated dinners, lunches, buffets and hors d’oeuvres. Details: www.capefearseafoodcompany.com.

Circa 1922: At 8 N. Front St. in downtown Wilmington, the Banquet Room is upstairs at this popular eatery. Maximum occupancy is 55 people. Details: https://circa1922.com/banquet-dinner.

Capt’n Bill’s: This restaurant/brewery/volleyball facility has a few options for private events, both indoors and outdoors. They can host up to 100 people. It's at 4238 Market St., Wilmington. Details: https://seeyouatbills.com.

Coquina Fishbar: In Mayfaire shopping center, this restaurant offers private dining for parties of 30 or more. There's no room charge at 890 Town Center Drive, Wilmington. Details: https://coquinafishbar.com.

Cornelia’s: This new restaurant in The Davis Community in Porters Neck offers an upscale dining experience and has a private room with a stage and audio equipment. Details: marzanaz@thedaviscommunity.org, https://thedaviscommunity.org/davis-life/dining.

Covey: Another new restaurant, this one at 1610 Tiburon Drive in Wilmington has a design that features many nooks, according to the owners. That includes private dining areas. Details: info@coveyilm.com, www.coveyilm.com.

Fixins OKI: At 8300 East Oak Island Drive in Brunswick County, this restaurant has a private room that can accommodate up to 20 guests. They can also host special events for dinner for groups up to 60. Details: www.fixinsoki.com.

Floriana ILM: In downtown Wilmington, this restaurant offers more than the picturesque two-seat balcony tables. They can accommodate parties from 12 to 50 in private and semi-private dining areas location on the first and second floors. Fees and order minimums are specific to each room. Front Street Brewery: The Taproom is on the top floor of this downtown Wilmington brewery in a historic building. It can accommodate 80 sit-down guests or 120 for cocktail style parties. It's at 9 N. Front St. Details: www.frontstreetbrewery.com.

The Getaway: In Wilmington's Riverlights community, this cafe is available for venue rentals after they close at 3 p.m. There's a rental fee, and options from its catering and beer-and-wine menus. Havana’s Restaurant: In Carolina Beach, this restaurant can host indoor and outdoor functions. Their Oasis Room will accommodate parties up to 14. It can also host larger gatherings, up to 200 guests. It's at 1 N. Lake Park Blvd. Details: www.havanasrestaurant.com.

Hieronymus Seafood Restaurant & Oyster Bar: There are quite a few restaurants that offer catering as a service. This longtime local eatery does so, too, but also hosts on premises parties at 5035 Market St. There are four different areas that can be rented. Cost depends on the number of people, menu options and when it's needed. Details: www.hieronymusseafood.us.

Henry’s: This Wilmington restaurant at 2508 Independence Blvd. has a room that will accommodate up to 28 people. There's no room rental fee but there are minimum order requirements. Details: www.henrysrestaurant.com.

Indochine: Another popular Wilmington restaurant is well known for hosting a variety of banquets and parties, including in a private room. There's a special menu to choose from, which has options from light appetizers to full choice of entrees. Details: www.indochinewilmington.com.

JohnnyLukes KitchenBar: A space known as The Room has seating for up to 50 guests with menu options like a breakfast and brunch buffet, hors d'oeuvres and formal plated event options. It's at 5500 Market St., Wilmington. Details: www.johnnylukeskb.com.

Junction 421: While the large dining room can seat up to 200 people, there are options for smaller parties at this Monkey Junction restaurant. There's also space for groups up to 25 or more at 5104 S. College Road. Details: https://junction421.com.

Kipos Hellenic Cuisine: In Lumina Station near Wrightsville Beach, this Greek restaurant has a couple of options for private parties, including the Ares Parlor for groups up to 20 seated guests and the Garden Room for 35 seated guests at 1900 Eastwood Road, Wilmington. Marina Grill: This restaurant has a lot of unique events to its credit. There are both indoor and outdoor options for private parties for various groups. Options include an entertainment pier, and a two-story rental space, as well as more intimate spaces. It accepts event requests for groups of 15 or more at 18 Harnett St., Wilmington. Nineteen Restaurant: In the Olde Point Country Club in Hampstead, this restaurant is open to the public. That includes for private events up to 100 guests in their dining room and banquet hall with dance floor at 513 Country Club Drive. Details: 910-406-1419, www.oldepointgolf.com.

Oceanic: This restaurant on the remnants of the Crystal Pier in Wrightsville Beach has a few options for events, including a third-floor loft and a covered portion of the pier that can accommodate up to 100 guests at 703 S Lumina Ave., Wrightsville Beach. Details: www.oceanicrestaurant.com.

Olympia Restaurant: This longtime Greek restaurant at 5629 Oleander Drive, Wilmington, is well-known for its large party room. It's available with no room rental free, but there are minimum order requirements. Details: www.olympiawilmington.com.

The Pilot House: On the Cape Fear River in downtown Wilmington, this popular spot created a private dining area in a renovation to this historic space at 2 Ann St., Wilmington. Details: www.pilothouserest.com.

Port Land Grille: This classic Wilmington restaurant has private dining rooms that can accommodate groups from 12 to 60. Menus can be customized, and reservations may require a minimum order. Details: 910-256-6056, info@portlandgrille.com, www.portlandgrille.com.

Quanto Basta: In downtown Wilmington, this coastal Italian eatery can host a variety of private events in their dining spaces and outdoor courtyard. Details: 910-395-6120, www.qbwilmington.com.

Rebellion NC: At 15 S. Front St. in downtown Wilmington, this restaurant has a private space called The Armory, which allows for access to the main floor, but has options customizable food and beverage. Details: https://rebellionnc.com.

Rounds Golf & Ledo Pizza: In Mayfaire, this combo restaurant and entertainment space offers a unique option for private events at 6801 Parker Farm Drive, Wilmington. Details: 910-839-3006, https://roundsgolf.com.

Ruth's Chris Steak House: This downtown steakhouse has a temperature-controlled pergola with retractable walls and ceiling called the Cape Fear Terrace that seats 70. Their Regatta Room seats 50 and can also be divided into two smaller rooms. Plus, there's an outdoor terrace overlooking the Cape Fear River that can be reserved for groups. Seabird: Chef Dean Neff said he specifically wanted an intimate private room for this restaurant in downtown Wilmington. It seats up to 14 guests and it requires a minimum order at 1 S. Front St., Wilmington. Details: www.seabirdnc.com.

SeaWitch: This indoor/outdoor restaurant and tiki bar in Carolina Beach has a private dining room that can hold up to 40 people. Look for a flexible menu, decor options, and audio-visual capabilities. There are no room fees, but it does require a minimum order for booking at 227 Carolina Beach Ave. N. True Blue: This Wilmington based restaurant group has a True Blue Events team that works to create unique experiences. That includes off-site parties, as well as those at one of their four restaurants. Details: www.trueblue-events.com.

Waterman’s Brewing: The Ohana Room at 1610 Pavilion Place, Wilmington, has space for up to 150 people with its own bar, restrooms and audio-visual equipment. Details: www.watermansbrewingco.com.

Wrightsville Beach Brewery: The Barrel Room at this brewery near Wrightsville Beach can host up to 50 people and has a separate entrance. Details: events@wbbeer.com, www.wbbeer.com.
