More senior apartments, condominiums and single-family homes are coming to Milwaukee’s northwest suburbs as part of three separate developments.
Two of the developments are in Menomonee Falls. The other is in Lannon. Sussex-based Sawall Development, the developer who built the first apartment complex ever in Lannon is developing condominiums in Lannon.
Here's more information on each.
Dixon Hollow Phase 2 senior housing in Menomonee Falls
What is it? This senior housing proposal in Menomonee Falls, with Minnesota-based developer Senior Housing Partners, will be a four-story building with 122 senior living apartments. Phase 1, completed in 2015, has 120 senior apartments that are independent living, 42 assisted living apartments and 18 memory care apartments. Amenities for Phase 1 included a chapel, club room, community room, library, wellness center, movie theater, market, bistro, beauty salon/barber shop and auditorium and restaurant style dining. The current proposal calls for underground parking and a walking path around the building which will create an easy connection between the two buildings.
Where is it? Phase 2 is proposed for W156 N4881 Pilgrim Road.
Is it approved? The proposal is slated to be voted on by the plan commission May 9. If the development gets plan commission approval May 9 and village board approval the next month, the building process can begin.
Stonewood Trail Condominiums in Lannon
What is it? Developed by Sawall Development, the proposal calls for 26 to 28 condominium units with potential expansion. There will be two unit sizes,1,552 square feet and 1,579 square feet. The units will have a private entrance, two bedrooms, a private covered patio, and the potential for a third bedroom and bathroom if the buyer decides to build out a basement.
Where is it? The condos will be built on 9.8 acres along Main Street in Lannon.
When will it be built? Village officials approved of the development in 2021, and there is a three-year build out process. The very beginning stages of this development have begun. Kevin Sawall of Sawall Development said that the condos should be completed by July or the end of the summer.

Evergreen Fields Phase 2, single-family homes in Menomonee Falls
What is it? This development consists of 32 new single-family homes sites to be developed as part of an overall plan of 109 single-family lots and 58 duplex condominiums. These lots range in size from 0.21 acre to 0.35 acre with an average lot size of 0.26 acre. The developer is Madison-based Veridian Homes. Thirty-five homes already have been built as part of Phase 1. Right now, there is projected to be four more phases, according to officials at Veridian Homes, after Phase 2 is completed.
Where is it? These single-family homes are going in along the south side of Silver Spring Drive between Lannon Road and One Mile Road in southwest Menomonee Falls.
When will it be built? This phase is projected to be completed by the end of the year.
