Looking for a ‘pocket pet’? Rabbits, rats up for adoption in Seminole County

If you’re looking for a pet outside of the typical dog or cat? Seminole County Animal Services has you covered.

The shelter has rabbits and rats available for adoption for $5.

Shelter officials encourage adopters of the “pocket pets” to do their research on the animals before theu chose to adopt.

Adopters also must have their own cage for the pets to take them home.
