Music in the Park

6 to 8 p.m., Lorraine Park. Free.

Enjoy live music by The Better Than Nothin’ Band, food trucks and a beautiful day outdoors with free swimming included. Bring blankets, swimsuits and lawn chairs to enjoy this free, family event.

The SpongeBob Musical

Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m.; Sunday at 2 p.m., Old National Events Plaza. Tickets are $10 for students, $15 for seniors, $20 for adults

The EVSC foundation and EVSC presents the 34th annual summer musical production of "The SpongeBob Musical." Watch SpongeBob, Patrick and other Bikini Bottom friends as an unexpected hero steps up to help them avoid annihilation.

July 14 to July 16, 6 p.m. to 1 a.m. , 11714 Winery Road Wadesville, IN 47638 

The St. Wendel Knights of St. John 282 is hosting three nights of fun with a beer garden, live music, and chicken dinners. St. Wendel's famous chicken/sausage dinners will be served Friday and Saturday starting at 5 p.m. with dine-in or drive-thru options.

Friday

Monster Truck Summer Smash

Friday and Saturday, 5 p.m., Vanderburgh 4-H Center. Tickets are $15 for ages 6-18, and $20 for adults. Free for children 5 and under.

Thrills for the whole family with 12 monster trucks, motorcycle daredevils, a "globe of death," ride truck, and live music.

'Girls Night Out' with the Evansville Otters

6:35 p.m., Bosse Field, Tickets range from $5 to $12.

This night is dedicated to the girls with margaritas, beer, baseball and the Junior League of Evansville. Wine glasses to the first 500 qualifying fans through the gates

Saturday

Warbird Weekend

Saturday and Sunday, Evansville Wartime Museum. Tickets are $8 to $11. Flight tickets are separate. 

Ride or tour the WWII Bomber B-25J Mitchell “Champaign Gal” from the Champaign Aviation Museum of Urbana, Ohio.

Franklin Street Bazaar

9 a.m. to 1 p.m., along West Franklin Street. Free.

Every Saturday on the lawn of the West Branch Library, hundreds of vendors from local farmers and producers to bakers to artists and craftsmen have pop-up shops for visitors to discover local products.

Kids Touch Tank Extravaganza

10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Whitlyn Aquatics, 8501 Baumgart Road. Free.

Kids can experience the wonders of sea life hands-on and close to home. Activities throughout the day include temporary tattoos, fun activities, police cars, fire truck, llamas, and food trucks.

'Star Wars Night' with the Evansville Otters

6:35 p.m., Bosse Field. Tickets range from $5 to $12.

May the force of baseball be with you as the Otters are hosting "Star Wars Night" for fans. A Boba Fett jersey will be up for auction during the game.

Corporate Recess

10 a.m. to 2 p.m., cMoe-Children’s Museum. Free.

Bring your team together with a breather from work and fun. The museum has created a grown-up recess full of animal cuddles, adult coloring, yoga, food trucks and more! Bring your business card to get in free
