131 Spring St. | 6-10 p.m. Friday and 7-11 p.m. Saturday | Friday's performers will be Radio Fry, Brown Noise, Sun Dog, Punch Your Boss and P.I.D., and cost is $5 at the door or online at Innocentsinners.com. Saturday's performers include Cleanse the Destroyer opening for Used Up as well as Glass Helix, Hate Season and MUSUJI, and cost is $10. Both shows open to all ages.

Acts include the jaw-dropping Wheel of Death, mystifying MAGIC and more. Show is suggested for a mature audience, and anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Pueblo Levee Walk at Midtown Shopping Center

1000 W. Sixth St. | 7-11 a.m., food trucks | 7:20 a.m., walk and run | 9 a.m., Zumba class | The Pueblo Downtown Association is sponsoring the event. A free shuttle will transport attendees from the shopping center to the Arkansas River Trail access point. Water stations will be available. Proceeds from the event’s sponsorships will support the Downtown Streetscape Program, including flowers, lighting, safety and security. Find out more at pueblodowntown.com.

Car Show at Walter's Brewing Company

126 Oneida St. | noon to 4 p.m. | The second annual car show will feature a car competition; food trucks Bierocks Potatoes & More, Rock Ya Belly and Puff Puffette Pass; beer specials; Walter's swag giveaways; and live music by Mark's Midnight Carnival Show. Admission is free and door prizes will be awarded. People's choice awards are presented at 4 p.m.: $150 for first place, $75 for second place and $50 for third. Entry cost is $60. 800 Goodnight Ave. | 6:30 p.m. for activities, dusk for movie start | Pueblo Parks and Recreation will show the movie "Frozen," plus there will be food trucks on site and The Rides at City Park will be running. Bring a blanket or chair to sit on. The event is free.

Orientation for Kids Summer Camp at Halfway Home Pueblo

803 W. Fourth St., Suite R | 6 p.m. | This mandatory orientation is for children planning to attend the June 19 to July 24 Summer Camp, which runs 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. each Monday through Thursday. The program will include STEM related activities, strategy games, arts and crafts, field trips, lunch and snacks. The program is free for children in kindergarten through 12th grades. Flag Retirement Ceremony at Bank of the San Juans

68 N. MucCulloch Blvd., Pueblo West | 8:30 p.m. | The American Legion, VFW and local Boy Scouts will host a flag retirement ceremony for American flags that have become tattered or soiled. Event is in honor of Flag Day. Residents can bring flags for disposal at any Pueblo or Pueblo West Bank of the San Juans through Friday, June 9.

Pizza with the President in Pueblo West

River of Grace Church, 84 S. Masters Drive | noon to 2 p.m. | Pueblo West Metro Board President Nick Madero is hosting a community conversation event to discuss local topics of concern with residents. Free pizza slices will be provided by Pueblo West Domino's Pizza.

61 E. Civic Center Plaza | 6:30 p.m. | This Pueblo West Metro District event will feature the movie "Puss in Boots: The Last Wish," as well as a food truck rally. Bring a blanket or chairs. Popcorn is free.

Avant-Garde musical improvisation at Blo Back Gallery

131 Spring St. | 7-8:30 p.m. | Performances include electric guitar and cello improvisations from Chicago-based Wolf3000; the Eclectic Electric String Quartet, which has members from from Chicago, Pueblo and Taos, New Mexico; plus Ryan Seward. Admission is $5-10. No one will be turned away for lack of funds.

Bus to Cripple Creek departing from North Side Kmart

3415 N. Elizabeth | 8:30 a.m. | The Armijo Family Reunion Committee will sponsor the Cripple Creek fundraiser bus trip. The bus will leave the North Side Kmart parking lot at 8:30 a.m. and depart Cripple Creek at 4 p.m.  There will be a 50/50 raffle, bingo, drinks, snacks and small prize giveaways. Summer Solstice Fest and Lantern Parade at Runyon Lake

100 Locust St. | 4-10 p.m. | The Pueblo Friends of the Arkasnas River is set to host the free community event featuring a 30-plus booth artisan market, family activities, a beer garden and food trucks. The lantern parade will begin about 7:30 p.m. and will go around the northeast trail at Runyon Lake. Bring a lantern and celebrate the longest day of the year. Father's Day celebration at Holiday Pueblo Regent

100 San Carlos Road | 2 p.m. | The senior living community is creating a space to celebrate all dads, stepdads, grandfathers, uncles and father figures. Guests will enjoy beer, pretzels, live musical entertainment and games for everyone to play. “You don’t have to be a father to be a dad, so we wanted to open this event to all father figures in our area,” said Natasha Cason, engage life coordinator at Holiday Pueblo Regent.

Latin American musical performance at Sangre de Cristo Arts Center

210 N. Santa Fe | 7 p.m. | The Latin music sensation LADAMA celebrates culture and spirit through music from their respective countries of origin — Brazil, Columbia, Venezuela and the United States. The band offers Latin alternative music with traditional and nontraditional instruments from across the Americas. Cost ranges from $15 for students and $20 for members to $25 for adults. Tickets are available at tickets.sdc-arts.org.

'Trout on the Route' Auction and Reception at Blo Back Gallery

131 Spring St. | 6-8 p.m. | This event will raise funds for the nonprofit Pueblo Friends of the Arkansas River. It will feature the auctioning off of 24-inch and 36-inch aluminum trout artistically decorated by local artists, as well as a silent auction of art works, gift cards and other items.
