Lookout tower? Fire pit? Saltwater pool? 5 of the coolest Airbnbs in the Brockton region

BROCKTON — A stay-cation doesn't have to mean staying at home or heading to a traditional hotel nearby.

We combed through some of the Brockton region's coolest, quirkiest, most inviting Airbnbs. Less than an hour drive from Brockton, these one-of-a-kind properties could just make for the perfect last minute summer getaway.

One of them has a lookout tower with river views. Another has all the quirky charm you'd expect from a tiny house nestled on a horse farm. Then there's the beach cottage that comes complete with its own shellfish license.

There's a price to fit a lot of different budgets and needs, too, from $107 a night for the tiny farmhouse all the way up to $4,250 a night for a resort-style estate mansion complete with "saltwater pool, hot tub, sauna, steam shower, gym, indoor basketball court, movie theater, bar area, firepit and outdoor kitchen" that the listing says is great for "family gatherings" and capable of accommodating a dozen guests.
