'Looks Like Godzilla!' Monitor Lizard Scales Window of Florida Home

A family received a shock after noticing a monitor lizard climbing their porch window in Apopka, Florida.

Video recorded by Frank Crowder shows the large reptile scaling the security screen through open blinds.

“We were walking about the house, we heard the scratching of the window screen and looked at the window. I will admit that initially I was shocked and the rest of the family was terrified!” Crowder told Storyful.

“We had just put snake powder down and we believe that is what brought the big fella’ out.”

The video was shared to Facebook by Crowder’s mother, Joycelyn Penson, who nicknamed the animal “Godzilla”.
